Meet The Undercovers

In 2012, three high school English teachers and a real-estate agent were looking for a new hobby. All the softball leagues were full and none of them owned any fishing gear, so they decided to form a cover band to break the monotony of grading research papers and filing escrow documents.  

The band they started was called “The Undercovers” and they have been regularly featured at Northern and Central California venues ever since. Whether it’s the Garlic Brothers in Stockton, Rivets in Modesto, the Discovery Bay Yacht Club, or the Brentwood Beer Festival, The Undercovers have quickly established themselves as an energetic, entertaining and highly professional cover band.   

Their song list is always evolving, but the one constant is that they play music that people know and like. The band covers all the prerequisite classics (Beatles, Rolling Stones, Elton John), a healthy dose of 90s rock (Green Day, Sublime, Goo Goo Dolls), and more recent radio-friendly hits (Maroon 5, One Republic, Bruno Mars), but their real forte is playing all the New Wave synth-influenced hits from the 80s (Billy Idol, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode). The band provides a full PA, background music between sets, and can easily accommodate to a variety of situations and environments. 

If you want a quintessential blues getup, a heavy metal group, or a guitar-solo showcase, this is not your band.
